There is an abundance of construction and home building/remodeling events in the U.S. Minnesota is actually home to some exceptional shows as well, with the Minneapolis Home & Remodeling Show that took place late in January being one of the best around. However, Minnesota has a couple of other can’t miss events, and we’re going to talk about them today, as well as a couple of national events that are well worth traveling to if you’re in the home building industry.
Without further delay, here are five industry events not to miss in 2019!
Las Vegas (Feb 19-21)
Yes, there are other things to do in Vegas other than gamble. The big draw this year will is their spotlight sessions, which include a series of presentations from the industry’s leading voices. Among some of the sessions that will be featured are “The 2019 Housing and Economic Outlook,” “60 Design Ideas in 60 Minutes,” “Your Guide to Building a Better Customer Experience,” and “Do This, Not That! Design Do’s and Don’ts for 2019.” We’ll actually be attending this event, and we hope to see you there! And if that doesn’t peak your interest, SNL great Dana Carvey will be the keynote speaker!
Kitchen & Bath Industry Show
Las Vegas (Feb 19-21)
Kitchens and baths have certainly taken a new life within the industry over the past decade, with homeowners and home builders both working to create unique spaces that stand out among kitchens and baths in other homes. The Kitchen & Bath Show (KBIS) is actually the largest trade show dedicated to kitchen and bath design in North America. The event will include an extensive show floor featuring the most creative and fresh designs from over 600 leading brands.
If you’re into kitchens and baths and need some tips for upgrading your home, then you’re going to want to pay a visit to the KBIS.
Minneapolis (Feb 13)
The BRS, which is presented by the Builders Association of the Twin Cities, is an award-winning trade show that is not only informative but also free. BRS is the go-to event for Minnesota builders who want to gain industry knowledge from an experienced experts, connect with innovative service providers and meet other home building and remodeling professionals and enthusiasts who share similar passions as your own.
Minneapolis (Feb 22-24, Mar 1-3)
The fact that the infamous Drew and Jonathan Scott of HGTV’s Property Brothers will be at this event should be enough to get you to go to the Minneapolis Home + Garden Show, then we don’t know what will. The show will include innovative products and hundreds of experts all under one roof, so that you can find that perfect piece to help improve your garden, as well as pick up on a few tips and tricks from knowledgable gardeners and home improvement providers.
Minneapolis (Feb 15-17)
If you’re interested in buying a second home, or even if you already own one, then the Lake Home & Cabin Show is the perfect event for you. It’s hard to think of anything more Minnesotan than summer weekends at the cabin, and while the weather outside is frightful, get a little taste of those peaceful summer mornings on the dock at this event.
This is the 15th year of the show and is actually the only show in Minnesota that specializes in second homes and the second home lifestyle. Features you can expect to see at this trade show include:
