December 20, 2025

A Year Built with Purpose

As 2025 comes to a close, we’re reflecting on a year filled with innovation, craftsmanship, and meaningful collaborations. From new custom builds and award-winning features to sustainability-driven partnerships, this year pushed the boundaries of what modern homebuilding can achieve. Here’s a look back at the highlights that defined our year.

New Builds That Defined 2025

This year, we introduced four new homes that embody our core values of modern design, high performance, and inspired living.

Montreal Residence: A bold yet inviting modern home that blends serenity with refined sophistication. Expansive living spaces transition effortlessly to the outdoors, while premium features—HempWool insulation, triple-pane windows, heated floors, and a dedicated wellness retreat—create a sanctuary of comfort and elevated living. Solar panels further enhance performance and sustainability, reducing the home’s overall energy footprint.

Can Hdeska Residence: Located in the heart of Prior Lake, this custom moody modern home blends bold architectural form with dramatic rooflines. Inside, luxury is reflected in every detail—from an inspiring art studio to meticulously crafted living spaces. An expansive deck extends the experience outdoors, leading to a serene patio and hot tub designed for both relaxation and effortless entertaining.

Waters Edge Residence: A modern retreat nestled on a private wooded island, this home offers refined living at every turn. Thoughtfully designed spaces include a stunning kitchen, dual workstations, a full golf simulator, and an expansive lower level crafted for unforgettable entertaining. With seamless indoor–outdoor flow and sweeping views of Lake O’Dowd, it delivers a lifestyle of luxury.

Vincent Residence: Scandinavian minimalism, elevated. This modern Scandinavian-inspired rowhome in Linden Hills pairs sustainable design with timeless style. Thoughtfully crafted with custom millwork, an elevator, and a flexible office space, it achieves a seamless balance of function and refined elegance.

Saunder Residence: Clean lines, natural materials, and high-performance design converge to create a home where luxury feels both effortless and sustainable. With its modest footprint, dramatic rooflines, integrated rain gardens, and a rooftop deck framing unforgettable Mississippi River sunsets, this modern residence makes a bold, memorable statement.

Together, these homes reflect not just the projects we delivered in 2025, but the continued evolution of our craft—and set the stage for an inspired year ahead.

Homes by Architects Tour (AIA):
We closed the year with a standout presence on the Homes by Architects Tour, showcasing three distinctly modern homes that highlight the range and depth of our design approach.

  • Waters Edge Residence: A stunning 6,541+ sq ft contemporary lakeside retreat crafted for elevated living and effortless entertaining.
  • Lake O'Dowd Residence: A mid-century modern gem featuring a hidden lounge, sport court, and direct lake access—bringing recreation and relaxation together under one roof.
  • West Lake Residence: A light-filled modern home in Orono, created in collaboration with Shelter Architecture, blending thoughtful craftsmanship with timeless design.

Partnerships Driving Sustainability Forward

Our commitment to advancing eco-conscious homebuilding deepened this year through several key partnerships.

We introduced Hempitecture ahead of the Summer Artisan Home Tour, highlighting HempWool insulation—an innovative material that significantly reduces CO₂ emissions. Its use showcased how high-performance, sustainable products can elevate the way modern homes are built and experienced.

We also partnered with All Energy Solar to provide practical education on the benefits of solar energy, showing homeowners how installing solar panels can reduce energy costs, boost home efficiency, and offer long-term peace of mind. Together with other sustainability-focused vendors, we developed educational content that empowers homeowners to make informed, future-forward decisions.

We also partnered with EcoSmart Stud on a high-performance build in Edina, integrating their advanced framing technology to strengthen both energy efficiency and structural integrity. By incorporating EcoSmart’s innovative materials, we were able to reduce thermal bridging, improve overall home performance, and demonstrate how smarter building systems can meaningfully elevate modern construction.

Awards & Recognition

This year, we were honored to receive the 2025 Green Path Leadership Award—recognizing our commitment to building beyond code, prioritizing energy efficiency, and delivering real, measurable performance to homeowners.

This award reflects our dedication to transparency, innovation, and creating homes that perform exceptionally for years to come.
